How do I clear my cache?

When using web-based applications, your computer will temporarily store some information. It does this by storing it into something called the "cache" (pronounced cash).

As our development team is constantly deploying new fixes and features, periodically you might need to "clear your cache" in order for the new changes to take effect.

Don't worry, it sounds complicated but it's a very simple process.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Close all Buildwise tabs.
  2. Click “Chrome” -> “Delete Browsing Data”.
  3. Select “Cached images and files”.
    1. CAUTION: Do not select the other options as it will then require you to re-enter passwords and forget your browsing history which can be quite annoying!
  4. Close that tab.
  5. Open a new tab and open Buildwise.
  6. Login!

The above are the steps for Google Chrome users however every browsing platform contains a similar process.
