Approve Button Use Cases

The Approve button is an optional workflow that can be used to signal readiness for expenses that are on the expenses table.

Some examples of how this may be used:
1️⃣ You or your PMs will upload trade bills to Buildwise, then click "Approve" when the work is completed, lien waivers are received, or other requirements for payment are met. This could then signal to a business owner, or perhaps the financial administrator in your company, that the transaction should be routed to QBO and placed in the A/P queue.
2️⃣ Timeclock records are clicked as "Approved" when the superintendent or project manager has reviewed and confirms the hours worked by on-site personnel are accurate and ready for payroll processing.
3️⃣ Expenses and Trade Invoices that are sent first to an accounting@yourcompany email account and uploaded by your financial administrator might sit as awaiting project and cost code coding, as well as approval for payment/invoicing.

This is an optional setting and can be reverted at any time. It also has no direct connection to the QBO sync.
