Delete a Project

Overview

If you have created a project either by mistake or you want to simply delete it and start over, you can do this at any time. But use caution!

WARNING: If you delete a project, you will lose all data it contains, and it cannot be retrieved!

In this article, we’ll cover two ways to delete a project in Buildwise, either from the Projects Dashboard or Project Overview tab.

Projects Dashboard

On the Projects Dashboard, find the project you want to delete and click the garbage can icon; the icon is available in both the tile and list page views.

A Delete confirmation window opens.

Are you sure you want to delete [Project Name] project? To delete, enter the project name below.

To delete the project, enter the Project Name and click Delete. A confirmation window opens. 

Click Okay to close.

Project Overview Tab

In the project, go to the Overview tab and scroll down to Delete Project.

Note: Check the breadcrumbs at the top of the page to ensure you are in the correct project.

Click Delete

A Delete confirmation window opens.

Are you sure you want to delete [Project Name] project? To delete, enter the project name below.

To delete the project, enter the Project Name and click Delete. A confirmation window opens. 

Click Okay to close.
