Track Time in the App
Overview
The Buildwise Mobile App allows you to track time without switching tasks throughout the day. At the end of the day, you can stop the timer and categorize your time.
- You can only track time for one project at a time.
- The timer continues tracking time even if you close the app.
- You can reset the end time of your shift when submitting your time.
- If you forget to stop the timer after more than 12 hours, Buildwise sends a push notification to the app, allowing you to stop the timer and categorize your time.
In this article, we’ll cover how to start, pause, or cancel the app timer.
Start Timer
To start the timer, open the Buildwise app and tap Track Time.
Note: If the timer is still running from a previous project, you must stop it and categorize your time before starting it for a new project. You will have the option to reset the end time of your previous shift.
Tap on the Project for which you want to track time.
Tap Start. If you tap Cancel, you can select a different project.
The timer displays at the top of the screen.
After tracking your time, you will then categorize it and submit it.
Pause Timer
If you need to, you can pause the timer. When you restart the timer, the timer continues tracking for the same project.
To pause the timer, tap Pause.
Tap Start when you are ready to restart the timer.
Cancel Timer
To cancel the timer, tap Cancel on the timer.
A popup opens: Do You Want To Cancel This Tracking?
Tap Yes to confirm.
